 My Thoughts:

This is a really excellent story about the ghost of a baker-woman.  After she dies she haunts her shop and keeps all other bakers out, until Annie comes and figures out the key to calming Cora down.  I'm a sucker for atmospheric writing and illustrations. The language is really marvelous, with lots of delicious details.  You may need a cookie for the kids if you're reading this for storytime.  It is written at a little bit of a higher level, but  despite the ghost it really isn't too scary.
